Sylva is a smart home plant care system. A system that requires an app to give it’s users the highest confidence in caring for their plants. To instill such confidence the app must adjust water levels monitor soil moisture, fertilizer and light levels. I was hired to design the Sylva app so plants and their people can stay connected.
I did some research then a little sketching which lead to UX where I could sort out the prototyping and design to ultimately validate my findings.
Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits is a live music show with a 40+ year run on PBS. With the shift in viewing habits and linear television losing viewership, ACL must grow its audience by offering the best live music experience online and mobile.
My goal is to create a website for ACL that is an “all access pass” for fans of live music. ACLTV.com will be the source for all that Austin City Limits has to offer, from Live shows to an in-depth archive of behind the scenes content. Fans will find it easy to take their ACL experience with them everywhere.
My objectives are to strengthen ACL’s fan base and to grow the audience to meet changing viewing habits.
AIGA San Diego LINK program is designed to educate, encourage local youth with an interest in art and design.
Print campaign for an epic series that aired on Discovery Channel.
The Atlas series was a beautifully shot documentary style series that featured various countries by following the lives of individuals in those countries.
Psych Week Digital
Psych Week was an annual event for Discovery Health. We were asked to build a social and digital campaign to promote the week-long event and the headline show while keeping the creative inline with the on-air spots.
Discovery produced many of their shows for commerce. We created packaging for hundreds of DVDs sold online and in major retail stores.
